New booklet


Minority Leaders for Society has published recently new booklet about equality.

The booklet was produced as result of the Training Course "Opportunities for Equality, Promotion of Equality" which was organized by Minority Leaders for Society in November 2010. In the booklet you can find summary from the training course and good examples and practices for work with minorities and for promotion of equality.

The booklet was promoted among young people in Stip in April.

Training Course "Minorities, Opportunities and Challenges - From Awareness to Action" 20 - 27 May 2011 in Stip, Macedonia

Minority Leaders for Society will organize the Training Course “Minorities, Opportunities and Challenges – From Awareness to Action” which will provide a platform for development of knowledge and skills over the topic of minority inclusion.

The participants will get an opportunity to share their experiences and knowledge with particular interest put into the experiences of South Eastern European countries and Programme countries. Mixture of participants from Programme and Neighbouring Partner Countries will further enhance the concept of active participation of minorities and common European Identity. The particular attention will be paid to active participation of minorities both on international and local levels.

Participating countries are: Romania, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Italy, Turkey and Macedonia.

Training Course 'Opportunities for equality, promotion of equality' - Stip, Macedonia 10 – 16 November 2010

Starting today, Minority Leaders for Society will organize a training course where 27 young people will come to work together.


The objectives of the training course are:


- To give concrete tools, methods and skills on work with young people from minorities;

- To share and learn from different practices and experiences in youth work aiming at social inclusion and citizenship of minority youth;

- To develop participants’ competences in developing and running youth non formal education activities based on citizenship and active participation;

- To promote inclusion, empowerment and active participation;

- To develop specific trainer competences related to work with minority youth and citizenship;

- To inform the participants abut different European Youth programmes and more concretly with the possibilities that Youth in Action programme offers in connections with inclusion and minorities;

- Creating new partnerhips and new projects in relation with the topic.


We will host people from: Ireland, Portugal, Romania, Armenia, Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo and Macedonia.

Promotion of the short movies "Women in Power"


Finally the production of the three movies "Women in Power" is ready. The short movies are part of the project - Youth Exchange "Women in Power" where 30 young people from all around Europe took part. The movies show what kind of activities have been done during the project and also sends message for active involvement of women.

You can watch two of the movies on the blog (see for posts in April 2009) and the third one will be posted very soon.

You can also order a copy from the movies for free.

And we have to thank European Commission and Youth in Action programme with which financial support this project and movies wouldn't have been made.

Youth Workers Developing Conflict Management Skills-Day 7




This was the last day of the Training Course where the 1st session started with the presentation of the Youth in Action Programme and her aims and objectives.Participants got to know more about the programme and how to apply for projects and the main and yearly objectives of the programme.
The second session was about future project planning where the participants had ideas about projects for future and they worked in groups and then presented it in front of everybody.
and in the end it was the evaluation of the whole programme.
